The Maccabi movement, both home and abroad, has always largely been driven by a culture of volunteerism. Volunteers make up the extensive workforce that runs the Maccabiah in Israel as well as the Regional Games in Europe and South America. At Maccabi SA, we are 99.9% staffed by sports mad volunteers who keenly believe in community service, from our National Executive Committee to our convenors, coaches, medical and support staff.
Maccabi SA volunteers generously sacrifice their time, effort and energy and are absolutely critical to ensuring the success and sustainability of the organisation. We are always on the lookout for skilled, organised, enthusiastic and dedicated team players across all areas of the organisation to continue our proud and rich history of volunteering. Our team are predominantly based in Johannesburg and Cape Town, but we are keen to expand!
