The cricketers were divided into two age groups, U13 and U18. The “blue caps” won the U18 division and the “white caps” won the U13 division. The boys relished this opportunity to make new friends, enhance their skills and gain match experience.

This tournament was part of the broader Maccabi SA objective to deliver an ongoing programme of sporting activity, outside of the Maccabiah, which complements school sports and thereby adds value to the community.

Maccabi Junior Cricket has been very active in the last few years and continues to deliver successful events thanks to their dedicated and enthusiastic committee of volunteers under the leadership of Maccabi SA Junior Cricket Convenor Myron Michel.
