The team entered into the Men’s 2^nd division and after a grueling 11 week long campaign, managed to only lose one game the whole season and finished in 1^st place in the league. They then went on to win their semi-final 7-4 putting them through to the final which they convincingly won 5-1.

“The experience gained from the European Maccabi Games in Berlin certainly helped us in achieving our gold medals, it taught us that discipline when defending and team work are important ingredients for victory” said Jojo Sher, a member of the victorious team.

With many of these boys aged only 16, the future of Maccabi SA Futsal is bright!
