The selected sports are bowls, chess, cricket, football, golf, netball, squash, table tennis, tennis and touch rugby, across various age groups (note: sports and age groups may change, subject to interest).
The purpose of the Festival is to bring together Jewish sportsmen and sportswomen from various sporting codes, from all the provinces and Southern African regions, for the common goal of participating in and celebrating sport within the Jewish community. The Festival will also assist to identify talented athletes for #TeamMaccabiSA who will be competing at the Maccabiah in Israel in 2021.
Before we officially launch the event we are gauging interest amongst the community, so if this is something you might want to participate in, please fill in the form – no commitment required at this stage!
