BACKGROUND
Maccabi SA began competing in netball at the 1993 Maccabiah where they won the gold medal, followed by bronze (1997), Junior gold and Open silver (2001 – the silver won by the Junior team!), Senior and Junior silver (2005), and Junior bronze (2009, 2017) – all excellent achievements!
CURRENT
Netball is a very popular and well attended school sport and Maccabi SA is looking to once again send competitive teams to the 2022 Maccabiah under the guidance of our new convenor, Rene Vermaak.
We will also be hosting indoor action netball events in 2021.
